Olaide Lawal brings over 15 years of extensive investment, management, and strategic leadership experience to Nubia Capital. His career spans both the United States and international markets, where he has excelled in roles covering strategy, finance, organizational performance, and leadership development.

Throughout his career, Olaide has worked across diverse industries, including financial services, technology, media, healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, and construction. He co-founded Barah Capital Partners, a private investment firm, and also served as President of Unified Dental Care, one of its portfolio companies.

Olaide’s board experience includes serving in leadership capacities for companies in healthcare, technology, retail, and fitness. Before his work in private investments, he was part of one of the world’s largest semiconductor corporations, where he played a key role in delivering high-impact corporate initiatives. Earlier, at Accenture, named among FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies, he worked as a management consultant on numerous value creation projects.

A strong academic achiever, Olaide holds an MBA from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he was honored as a Dean’s Fellow. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos.
