Victoria Manya is a lawyer, researcher, and advocate with more than a decade of experience in entrepreneurship, technology, and inclusive development. She is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Advocacy for Policy and Innovation (API) and has played a central role in shaping Nigeria’s digital economy, including contributing to the Nigerian Startup Act and the country’s National Structure and Governance Framework with NITDA.

She currently serves as Knowledge Manager at the African Studies Centre Leiden (ASCL) within the INCLUDE Knowledge Platform, fostering collaboration between African and Dutch stakeholders. Her work spans drafting policy, such as the Online Harms Protection Bill, and mentoring entrepreneurs to navigate regulatory challenges while building sustainable businesses.

Victoria holds an LL.B from the University of Jos, an MA in Development Studies from Erasmus University, and is pursuing a Ph.D. at Leiden University, focusing on Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystems. She is also a sought-after speaker and contributor to both academic research and policy publications.
